Practical tips

Although the region is doing well with Porcine Epidemic Diarrhea (PED), Porcine Deltacoronavirus (PDCoV), and Senecavirus A (SVA) there are still risks of new cases.

• Extra care should be taken when transport vehicles return from the USA or Eastern Canada or from high traffic sites such as assembly yards.
• Manure spreading is still a risk in areas where there have been PED cases in the last few years.
